Chesapeake Utilities named Jeffrey Sylvester as senior vice president with responsibility for the company’s natural gas transmission and regulated distribution businesses.
Xcel Energy has named Bob Frenzel president and chief operating officer, Tim O’Conner executive vice president and chief generation officer, and Brian Van Abel executive vice president and chief financial officer. Wendy Mahling was named vice president and corporate secretary, Karen Hyde was named senior vice president and chief Risk, Audit and Compliance officer, and Frank Prager is now senior vice president of Strategy, Planning and External Affairs. Amanda Rome was promoted to executive vice president and general counsel.
Mitch Stendal has been appointed president of KorTerra, the Minneapolis-based damage-prevention software provider for gas distribution and pipeline operations. Don Lewis, former KorTerra president, moved to chief operating officer.
AltaGas named Donald “Blue” Jenkins as executive vice president and president, Utilities, and president of Washington Gas. Colleen Starring has been appointed as senior vice president and chief operating officer, Utilities.
PG&E named Francisco Benavides as its vice president and chief safety officer.
Middle Tennessee Natural Gas named Mike Davidson as executive vice president and CEO, following the retirement of James Hodges. Cliff Swoape was promoted to director of Human Resources and Communications.
WEC Energy Group Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Scott Lauber has assumed some responsibilities of Senior Executive Vice President Frederick Kuester, who plans to retire this year. Lauber has taken responsibility for WEC’s non-utility energy infrastructure investments, the supply chain and real estate groups.
David M. Slaugenhoup has been promoted to vice president within RT Specialty’s Environmental and Construction Professional Practice. He is based at the company’s Hamilton, New Jersey, office.
Entergy appointed Kathryn Collins as senior vice president and chief Human Resources officer.
Algonquin Power & Utilities named Arun Banskota to the new position of president to work with CEO Ian Robertson in preparation for transition to CEO later this year. Treasurer Arthur Kacprzak has been promoted to senior vice president and deputy CFO. He will become CFO upon the retirement of David Bronicheski this fall.
Mayra Bergman has joined PECO as vice president of Communications, succeeding Doug Oliver, who was named vice president of Governmental & External Affairs.
