(P&GJ) — A natural gas pipeline operated by Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline was struck by a construction crew in Missouri’s Cass County on Sept.6, according to KMBC News.

The incident occurred near the intersection of Hubach Hill Road and Brook Parkway, resulting in a natural gas leak.

Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline has activated its emergency response plan and is working with local first responders to manage the situation, according to KMBC. No injuries have been reported, and the company is addressing the repair needs.
