Alabama Laser Laser-Cladding Services and Systems

Alabama Laser provides both laser-cladding services and systems.

The cladding process uses a laser to deposit a layer of material onto a substrate. Cladding enhances the properties of a surface and – with the right material choice – provides good wear and corrosion resistance. The company says this process is emerging as a strategic technique for repairing damaged components and also to improve the properties of base materials for surface protection.
