Company To Offer Gas Storage In July
Monroe Gas Storage Company LLC, a joint venture of Foothills Energy Ventures LLC and High Sierra Energy LP, announced a binding open season for up to 1.0 Bcf of firm, high deliverability storage capacity at its Monroe Gas Storage facility currently under construction near the city of Amory, MS.
The Monroe facility will use a depleted natural gas reservoir to provide multi-cycle natural gas storage with a maximum injection capability of 445,000 Mcf/d and a maximum withdrawal capability of 465,000 Mcf/d. The project will have dual interconnections to Texas Eastern Transmission Company in the M1 market zone and Tennessee Gas Pipeline into the 500 Leg in Zone 1. The company expects the capacity to be available beginning July 1, 2009.
