Bredero Shaw Awarded Coating Contract For Epic Energys QSN3 Project

Bredero Shaw received a contract in excess of US$40 million from Marubeni-Itochu to provide pipeline coatings for Epic Energy’s QSN3 Pipeline Project.

Theproject incorporates the looping construction of the South West Queensland Pipeline, SWQP and the QSN Link Pipeline. QSN3 will be installed from Wallumbilla in South East Queensland to Moomba in South Australia. The project will be executed at the Bredero Shaw pipe-coating facilities in Kembla Grange, Australia and in Kuantan, Malaysia.

The contract involves coating 587 miles of 18-inch pipe that will be protected with dual layer fusion bonded epoxy coating and SureFlo® internal coating.
