Tieberg Named PLM's Sales Manager For North America

PipeLine Machinery International (PLM) announced Nov. 1 that Gordie Tieberg has taken on the new position of Sales Manager – North America. He joins the management team at PLM and will hold responsibility for the sales team and machine business in the US and Canada.

Tieberg has been working closely with PLM as the Cat Financial International Account Manager in charge of pipeline business globally since PLM was established in 2005.

“Throughout this five-and-a-half-year period, Gordie has gained experience with the pipeline community and has earned the respect of the customers and the PLM sales team,” said Fernandez. “With Gordie’s expertise and guidance leading the sales team in North America, we will continue to improve on delivering focused pipeline solutions to the industry.”

Tieberg holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and brings to the table more than thirty years of equipment sales and financing experience. For the past 16 years he has been coordinating international business at Caterpillar offices in Chile, Peru, France, Germany, Austria, and various US and Canadian locations.

Cat Financial has named Anthony Zaccari, Territory Manager, to take over Tieberg’s position in the pipeline financing business effective November 1, 2010.
