Millenium Launches Open Season
Millennium Pipeline announced April 1 a binding open season beginning April 1st and running through April 15th for shippers seeking firm transportation capacity commencing July 1, 2011, to support mainline expansions.
“In keeping with Millennium’s vision of becoming one of the most customer oriented pipelines serving the Northeast, I’m excited to be offering this open season,” said Millennium Pipeline President Joseph Shields. “We have executed precedent agreements with two anchor shippers that will move the project forward and welcome the participation of others. We are listening to our customers and we understand how their transportation needs are changing dramatically with the Marcellus Shale production. As Millennium continues to grow as a flexible liquid point, this expansion will be designed to address these changing needs.”
The open season notice has been posted on Millennium’s electronic bulletin board, as well as its website at www.millenniumpipeline.com, where further details are provided. Prospective shippers seeking further information may contact Stan Brownell at 845-620-1300.
