Bridger Joins Advantage Pipeline In Development Of Pecos River Project

Bridger Logistics, LLC, a division of Bridger Group, LLC, plans to join Advantage Pipeline, LLC of Midland, TX in developing its Pecos River Pipeline project that will transport oil from the Delaware Basin to Gulf Coast and Midland markets.

The pipeline will originate in the Delaware Basin near Pecos and terminate in Crane, TX. At Crane, the pipeline will connect to Magellan’s Longhorn Pipeline as well as Centurion Pipeline’s Crane Station. Once fully operational, the pipeline will have an initial capacity to transport 150,000 bopd and will consist of more than 75 miles of trunk line. Lateral extensions, gathering stations, origination stations and truck offloading facilities will also be developed by Bridger Transfer Services, LLC.

The Pecos River Pipeline project is scheduled to be operational by early 2013. Upon completion, the project will be the first to allow producers and shippers in the Delaware Basin to deliver oil directly to Crane.

In other news, Bridger Logistics shipped its first unit train shipment of Bakken crude from Berthold, ND. As the original and primary shipper from Enbridge Rail (ND), L.P.’s new rail facility, Bridger will ship unit trains at a rate of one per week or 10,000 bpd until the end of Phase I. Bridger will continue to transport crude volumes as the exclusive shipper of the newly constructed facility until Phase II of the project becomes operational in early 2013.

In Phase II, Bridger will increase its shipping capacity to three trains per week or 30,000 bpd.
