Argentina's YPF In Talks With Gazprom

Argentina’s state-controlled YPF energy company has reached a strategic accord with Gazprom.

YPF President Miguel Galuccio said it could lead to partnerships with the Russians in drilling for shale oil and gas in the South American country, as well as more supplies of Russian LNG for Argentina’s energy-hungry economy. Galuccio is on a global road trip in search of partners and also plans to talk to U.S. oil companies.
