Gazprom Gets Green Light For Vladivostok LNG Plant

Gazprom’s Management Committee has approved the investment rationale for a new LNG plant near Vladivostok in the far east of Russia.

The plant will have three process trains, each with annual capacity of 5 MM metric tons of LNG, with the first train expected to come onstream in2018. Gas will be supplied from fields offshore Sakhalin, and from the Yakutia and Irkutsk gas production centers. Target customers are in the Asia/Pacific region.
