UniversalPegasus International To Provide FEED For Peruvian Compressor
UniversalPegasus International (UPI) was awarded a contract to supply the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) for Repsol Exploración Perú Sucursal del Perú’s first compressor station in Peru, announced CEO Philip Luna. This award was made within the bounds of a previous umbrella agreement that could imply further work for UPI.
The design will address challenge such as protecting the environmentally sensitive Amazon rainforest and handling a gas stream with exceptionally high natural gas liquids content. The facility is the first step in installing a major compression station as the field is further developed. Work on the facility, which will provide support to Repsol’s discoveries in the gas-liquid prolific Ucayali basin and that also comprises the Camisea field, will begin immediately and is expected to span the next four months.
