System Management Underway On Sakhalin Shelf

Honeywell Process Solutions is upgrading the process control and alarm management systems at the Molikpaq platform on the Sakhalin Shelf.

The Molikpaq platform, owned by Sakhalin Energy Investment Co. Ltd., is 15 years old and produces 48,000 bopd. It was installed northeast of Sakhalin, 16-km offshore, at a depth of 30 meters. To modernize the system, Honeywell will use the latest version of its Experion Process Knowledge System (PKS).
