Double Success for BiSN at Offshore Achievement Awards
BiSN took home the Innovator Award and Great Company Award at this year’s Offshore Achievement Awards (OAA). Winners were announced at an awards ceremony on March 22 in Aberdeen, Scotland.
The Great Company Award recognizes excellence among small to offshore energy companies, and was judged the winning entry, based upon the company’s development, impact and plans for future success and growth. The Innovator Award was received for the company’s Wel-lok M2M technology which has “revolutionized downhole sealing for the oil and gas industry.”
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been awarded not one, but two OAAs,” said CEO Paul Carragher. “To be awarded two prestigious accolades while in competition with our industry peers is a great honor.”
Other top winners in 2018 were: Emerging Technology Awards: Guardian Global; Technologies HSE Innovation Award: Osbit Ltd.; Export Achievement Award: Coretrax Technology Ltd.; Collaboration Award: BP & Subsea 7 and Connected Competence; Outstanding Skills Development Program Award: Score (Europe) Ltd.; Young Professional Award: Laura Steedman, BP; Above & Beyond Award: John Fraser, Sparrows Group; Great Company Award (Large): Entier Limited; Significant Contribution Award: Ray Riddoch, Nexen Petroleum U.K. Limited.
