Valley Crossing Pipeline Goes in Service to Mexico

Service began on the 168-mile Valley Crossing Pipeline, which will transport natural gas from the Agua Dulce near Corpus Christi, Texas, to a pipeline in Mexico.

The $1.5 billion pipeline will, at capacity, move 2.6 Bcf/d of natural gas into service on Feb. 14. It had been ready to operate since October, Enbridge said, but awaited the completion of the pipeline in Mexico.

The second pipeline, the Infraestructura Marina del Golfo, a joint venture between TransCanada and Sempra Energy, experienced months of delays but was finished in in early February.
