The PE100+ Association, founded in 1999 to assure consistent quality at the highest level in the production and application of materials for PE100 pressure pipes, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.
The global industry organization includes 13 leading PE manufacturers by monitoring the most critical properties of enhanced requirements, PE 100+ Association is able to issue a “PE100+ Association Quality Materials List” on a regular basis and is in preparation to issue in future an additional, separate PE100-RC+ Quality Materials List.
The Retail Energy Supply Association announced the election of new officers for 2020, including President Matt White, IGS Energy; First Vice President Clint Sandidge, Calpine; Second Vice President Gretchen Fuhr, Constellation; Secretary Alexandrea Isaac, Starion Energy; and Treasurer John Ritch, NextEra Energy.
After nearly two decades leading the Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA), Don Santa retired from the organization, effective Feb. 15. Since joining INGAA 17 years ago, Santa has led the organization and the industry through several periods of transition while building a team of experts who advocate on behalf of member companies in Washington, D.C. From multiple reauthorizations of the Pipeline Safety Act, to shaping regulatory policy affecting interstate natural gas pipelines, Santa has been a strong advocate for the industry for decades. The INGAA board of directors appointed Alex Oehler, who leads TC Energy’s U.S. federal government relations team, as interim president while the board conducts a national search to fill the position on a permanent basis. Oehler has served in a variety of government and policy roles for over 20 years.
Phillips 66 Chairman and CEO Greg Garland will serve two years as chairman of the American Petroleum Institute (API). He succeeds Exxon Mobil CEO Darren Woods, who will remain on Washington-based API’s executive committee.
