Angela E. Kouplen joined One Gas as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. She will oversee all aspects of the department and report to Robert S. McAnnally, president and CEO.
Consumers Energy Executive Director of Corporate Giving Carolyn Bloodsworth has retired after 42 years and been replaced by Cathy Wilson, executive director, Government Affairs. Amy Plaster, executive director of Federal Government Affairs, also retired. Chris Iannuzzi is the new executive director of Governmental Affairs, in a move that combines state and federal policy, advocacy and strategy.
Cathodic protection and corrosion control company Farwest Corrosion Control promoted Kenji Gailey to the role of president, succeeding Troy Rankin, who transitions to a senior advisory role. Gailey, formerly the company’s vice president of Construction Services, will leverage his extensive background in products, construction and engineering to steer Farwest into its next chapter of innovation and customer service excellence.
Morlon Bell-Izzard has been named Exelon’s chief customer officer and senior vice president. She will lead customer strategy and engagement across the company’s six utilities, while continuing to serve as Pepco Holding’s chief customer officer.
PPL Corporation named Christine M. Martin as interim Electrical Utilities president. The 20-year veteran of the company most recently served as senior vice president of Public Affairs and chief officer of Sustainability.
Bracewell LLP announced that Eugene R. Elrod joined the firm’s Washington, DC office as a partner in the Energy Regulatory Group. Elrod comes to the firm from Latham & Watkins LLP. He joins the firm with over 40 years of experience in oil and gas regulatory law, primarily focusing on pipeline matters. He provides counsel and representation to owners of energy assets.
Steven L. Lindsey has been named president and CEO of Spire and was appointed to the company’s Board of Directors. Lindsey served as executive vice president and chief operations officer. He succeeds Suzanne Sitherwood, who retired in December.
David Goodin, MDU Resources president and CEO, will retire this month after a decade in the position. He is succeeded in the position Nicole Kivisto, who was serving as president and CEO of MDU’s electric and natural gas utility companies.

The INGAA Foundation Board of Directors elected Sean Nicholson as chair and Kim Tarr as vice chair of the INGAA Foundation to one-year terms that started Nov 10.
“Sean and Kim each have a depth of industry knowledge and diverse experiences in the natural gas pipeline industry which will guide them in their roles as Chair and Vice Chair over the next year,” said Amy Andryszak, president of the INGAA Foundation. “I believe they are a balanced team perfectly poised to grow the INGAA Foundation and lead the industry forward.”
Nicholson is vice president of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) for Michels Corporation, a multi-faceted construction company headquartered in Brownsville, Wisconsin, where he has worked since 2007. Ms. Tarr serves as VP of Engineering and Construction for Boardwalk Pipelines, where she has worked since 2008.
