Pipetech
Flow remediation specialist Pipetech, has launched Downhole Scale Remediation (DSR) technology, a wellbore cleaning solutions supported by the Net Zero Technology Centre’s (NZTC) emissions reduction program.
The technology addresses long-standing industry challenges posed by scale, wax, and other naturally occurring deposits that obstruct fluid flow, compromise production efficiency and create unsuitable surfaces for bridge plugs. Unlike traditional cleaning methods that rely heavily on corrosive chemicals, the DSR leverages a rotational high-pressure water-jetting system.
Its water-jetting nozzle tracks and adapts to a wellbore’s varying inner diameter (ID), delivering precise and effective cleaning for safety valves, side pocket mandrels, and other critical areas, restoring surfaces to bare metal with unmatched efficiency. www.pipetechcfs.com.
APEM
APEM announced the launch of its CT Series toggle switches, with ready availability globally through service distributors.
Offered in familiar form factors with innovative options, these toggle switches and accessories integrate thoughtful design details for improved performance, and they incorporate the features and approvals needed. Typical power toggle switches, using a standard 15/32-inch mounting hole, are a familiar sight in many of the world’s most demanding applications.
However, some end users and OEMs have discovered issues with obtaining the products they need from suppliers. One- and two-pole versions, rated 15A @ 28V DC and 10A @ 125/250V AC, with screw, solder lug, or quick connect terminals, cover a large range of specified applications.
With UL approval, an IP67 waterproof rating, and an exceptionally wide operating temperature range of -45 to +85 Deg C, the CT Series is well-suited for use in the harshest environments. www.apem.com.
Sick, ERC
Sick and Eagle Research Corporation (ERC) offer a remote data collection solution using the FLOWSIC500 ultrasonic gas flow meter.
This device allows for remote access to meter integrity data and gas flow information. ERC is an independently owned automation and telemetry solutions provider, focused on industrial and natural gas applications. This recent partnership pairs the FLOWSIC500 with ERC’s 9040500USM cellular monitoring device.
The ERC 9040500USM integrates with any SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system or third-party polling engine to access flow information and meter health data using standard LTE (long-term evolution) cellular-based communication protocols. www.sick.com
Vermeer
Vermeer expanded its horizontal directional drilling (HDD) fluid management equipment line with the new R600T reclaimer.
The new 600-gallon/minute (2,271.3-liters/minute) mud recycling system can pair with maxi-rigs pumping between 300 and 600 gallons/minute (1,136 and 2,271 liters/minute) on pipeline and other large-diameter installation projects.
The R600T features a redesigned linear-motion shaker deck to help reduce weight, increase the available G-force and extend screen life, and it also includes several other performance and serviceability-enhancing features. The three-tank (scalped, middle and clean) R600T reclaimer has a total fluid capacity of 7,729 gallons (29,257.4 liters) and can process 1,100 gallons/minute (4,163.9 liters/minute) of drilling slurry, for a true cleaning capacity suited for HDD projects in the 600-gallons/minute range. www.vermeer.com
Emerson
Emerson introduced DeltaV™ Edge Environment 2.0, the newest version of its edge technology for delivering OT applications and contextualized control data anywhere in the enterprise.
The updated DeltaV Edge Environment 2.0 now supports batch data integration to help life sciences, chemical processing and other batch processing industries leverage their critical data in analytics applications, AI and machine learning applications, IT enterprise systems and more, whether on-premises or in the cloud.
The technology bridges the gap between operational technology control systems and information technology-focused applications with one-way egress of control system data via a secure, read-only replica of contextualized DeltaV distributed control system data. www.emerson.com
TT Technologies
TT Technologies offers a pipe rammer and bentonite system package for oil and gas pipeline installation projects. The pipeliner package features an 18-inch diameter Grundoram Goliath pneumatic pipe ramming system and a Grundomudd 500 bentonite mixing/delivery system.
During the ramming process, the rammer is attached to the rear of the casing. The tool then drives the pipe through the ground with repeated percussive blows. The Goliath rammer installs steel pipes and casings from 24 to 56 inches. The rammer can also be used for the slick-bore process, installing a bore pipe, which, when removed, pulls the product pipe into place.
Ramming provides accurate installation of casing in a wide range of soil without surface slump, making it ideal for installations under railways and roads. The pipeliner package is also useful in HDD assist and rescue applications. www.tttechnologies.com
