Hearing Set in Tioga on Proposed $4.5 Million Oil Pipeline

TIOGA, N.D. (AP) – North Dakota regulators have scheduled a public hearing in Tioga later this month on a proposed $4.5 million oil pipeline in Williams County.

Hess North Dakota Export Logistics LLC is seeking a permit for the new Energy Transfer Partners Pipeline project. The proposed 12-inch diameter, 1.1-mile-long pipeline would transport crude from the Ramberg Truck Facility to the Energy Transfer Partners Facility about 7 miles south of Tioga.

The pipeline would have the capacity to transport up to 70,000 barrels of oil per day, with a normal amount of 50,000 barrels daily.

The Public Service Commission says the hearing is Tuesday, July 26, at Neset Consulting Service. It starts at 11 a.m. Central time.
