Pipeline Construction Awarded to Sapura Energy
Sapura Energy Berhad’s subsidiary Sapura Offshore Sdn. Bhd. has been awarded the following pipeline construction contracts:
- Engineering, procurement, construction and installation of wellhead platforms, associated pipelines and tie-ins for the Zawtika Development Project Phase IC
Under the terms of the contract, the scope of work includes the engineering, procurement, construction and installation of associated pipelines, transportation and installation of new offshore wellhead platforms, brownfield modifications of existing platforms and installation of telecommunication and control system integrated to existing facilities to be executed in the Zawtika Field Development for Lot 1 and Lot 2 located in the Gulf of Moattama. Construction is expected to be finished in March 2018.
- Upgrading offshore single point mooring replacement at Brunei Shell Petroleum Co Sdn Bhd’s Seria Crude Oil Terminal
Under the terms of the contract, the scope of work includes project management, engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation and installation and hook-up/pre-commissioning of one of BSP’s new Single Point Mooring-1 and Pipeline End Manifold-1 complete system along with decommissioning certain parts of existing infrastructure. The project is expected to take approximately 21 months with offshore works planned to begin in April 2018.
- Transportation and installation balance subsea works for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited’s C26 Cluster Pipeline Project
Under the terms of the contract, the scope of work includes transportation and installation balance subsea works for the C26 Cluster Pipeline Project at the ‘C-24PI to TCPP’ segment and ’BB to BA’ segments, relocation of anodes at the NLW platform, sump caisson removal at the BA platform and to divert the flow to inlet of closed drain header at the BPA platform. Construction is expected to be finished by the second quarter of 2017.
