Pipeline Construction Project in Nigeria to be Completed this Year
Pan Ocean Oil Corporation announced the Amukpe-Escravos Pipeline Project, a joint venture between the company and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, is on track to be placed in service before the end of 2017.
“This great achievement means that Pan Ocean has an alternative line to export her crude and create an opportunity for others who have been using Trans Forcados Pipeline to export their crude without disruption,” Dr. Festus Fadeyi, Pan Ocean’s Chairman, said. “This project will help the country to continue to export crude oil and keep the economy alive.”
Construction of the 67-kilometer Amukpe-Escravos Pipeline Project is currently being completed by Fenog Nigeria Limited. Once finished, the project will enable accommodate third party crude oil transport of an additional 160,000 barrels per day to Chevron Nigeria Limited’s Escravos tank farm.
