Winter Storm Delays Public Meeting on Pipeline Project in North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — Bad weather has prompted the North Dakota Public Service Commission to postpone a public hearing in Williston on a natural gas pipeline project.

ONEOK Rockies Midstream wants to convert an existing natural gas gathering pipeline and a portion of another gathering pipeline into a natural gas liquids transmission line. The cost of the Cherry Creek Pipeline Conversion project is estimated at $1.8 million.

A public hearing was set Tuesday morning at the Williston Research Extension Center. It will be rescheduled for another time due to the winter storm impacting the state.
