Zydeco Pipeline Begins Binding Open Season
Zydeco Pipeline Company, jointly owned by Shell Midstream Partners and Shell Pipeline, began a binding open season for firm capacity on its 350-mile pipeline which delivers crude to St. James, La., and Clovelly, La., from terminals in Houston and Nederland, Texas.

“Zydeco is a strategic pipeline and among the best in terms of connectivity and delivery points of any pipeline along the Gulf Coast,” said Kevin Nichols, CEO of Shell Midstream Partners. “It has met, and we expect that it will continue to meet, demand in the critical part of a high-growth market,”
Zydeco provides a transportation of crude oil to Louisiana refiners, helping to alleviate bottlenecks of crude in Houston and Nederland from the Eagle Ford, Permian Basin and Bakken.
The open season runs through Sept. 28.
