TechnipFMC Awarded Subsea Contracts for Reliance MJ1 Field in India
(P&GJ) TechnipFMC announced that it has been awarded significant subsea contracts by Reliance Industries Limited for the MJ1 field offshore India.
The contracts cover the fabrication and installation of flexible risers, rigid and flexible flowlines and umbilicals. TechnipFMC categorizes contracts between $75 million and $250 million as "significant."
MJ1, located in the Krishna Godavari basin, is a high-pressure high-temperature gas field in water depths ranging between 1,000 and 1,200 meters. It will be connected to a new Floating Production Storage and Offloading facility. The MJ1 field is operated by Reliance Industries.
"These awards confirm the trust we have built over the long term with Reliance along the oil and gas value chain, reflecting both our commitment to the Indian market and our leadership in the energy transition domain, through subsea gas projects,” said Arnaud Pieton, president Subsea at TechnipFMC.
TechnipFMC said the MJ1 contracts are included in its second quarter financial results.
