Pipeline & Gas Journal Awards Announces Finalists

(P&GJ) — Pipeline & Gas Journal Awards judges narrowed down a significant number of nominations and announced finalists Wednesday for its inaugural event in November.

The Pipeline & Gas Journal Awards program honors the midstream industry’s leading innovations and outstanding personal contributions to the industry.

Due to the tremendous number of nominations in the Best Pipeline Technology category, and to further recognize achievements in the midstream industry, the advisory board decided that it was necessary to expand it into three new categories.

Nominations submitted for the Best Pipeline Technology category are now represented in: Best Repair Technology Advancement, Best Management Advancement Technology and Best Coating/Corrosion Advancement Technology.

Other award categories include Best Advance in Maintenance Technology, Best Digital Transformation, Best Pipeline Integrity, Innovative Thinker Award, Safety Innovation of the Year and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Gulf Energy Information is utilizing a two-stage judging process to ensure the most deserving submissions are recognized. The first stage of judges consist of Pipeline & Gas Journal editorial members and the second stage of judges will consist of Advisory board members who are industry experts from the field and academia.

The awards ceremony will be on Nov. 18 at The Westin Houston, Memorial City. Tickets are on sale now. Click here to see the full list of finalists and register for the event.
