EnerMech Secures Two Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Contracts in Malaysia
(P&GJ) — EnerMech has been awarded two pipeline pre-commissioning contracts in offshore East Malaysia. These contracts involve pre-commissioning work in both deep and shallow water environments.
The first contract includes pre-commissioning operations at a depth of 1,300 meters, while the second focuses on shallow water. EnerMech will carry out tasks such as flooding, cleaning, gauging, testing, dewatering, and nitrogen packing of subsea umbilicals, risers, and flowlines.
The company has been operating in Asia since 2009 and has developed its presence in the region, including in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China.
“Asia is a key geography for the business as it has significant offshore oil and gas reserves that continue to attract investment,” Charles “Chuck” Davison Jr., EnerMech CEO, said. “These two new contracts align with our strategic vision to expand our pipeline and subsea capabilities in the region to support the current sector’s needs and the anticipated larger projects on the horizon.”
