T.D. Williamson Acquires Canadian Pipeline Repair Innovator Petro-Line
(P&GJ) — T.D. Williamson (TDW), a global leader in pipeline technology, has acquired Petro-Line, a Canadian company known for its patented pipeline repair solutions, including the PETROSLEEVE.
The PETROSLEEVE technology is a standout in the industry, offering a method to repair pipeline defects quickly and permanently without halting operations or requiring complex in-service welding. This innovation reduces downtime and prioritizes safety, making it a popular choice for operators aiming to extend pipeline lifespans.
By adding PETROSLEEVE to its portfolio, TDW expands its capabilities, which already include in-line inspection, pigging, hot tapping, and isolation services.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Petro-Line team to TDW,” said Bob McGrew, TDW president and CEO. “Their proven track record of innovation and excellence in pipeline maintenance, along with their dedication to safety and customer satisfaction, aligns perfectly with TDW's values and vision for the future. This combination reinforces our shared commitment to providing best-in-class, technically differentiated solutions to critical energy infrastructure and allows us to support our customers in new ways.”
Petro-Line Vice President Darcy Miller expressed optimism about the partnership, saying, “We chose to partner with TDW because of their innovative capabilities, global presence, and premier brand. With their relentless commitment to innovation and service to their customers, we are confident that partnering with TDW will provide significant growth and substantial development opportunities for our people.”
Petro-Line has served Western Canada for decades, earning a reputation for quality service and customer satisfaction. The acquisition positions TDW to further expand its offerings and enhance its role as a trusted provider for the energy sector.
