CF Energy to Build Natural Gas Pipeline for Xinhui Daze Project
(P&GJ) — CF Energy Corp. has signed a cooperative agreement with the State Power Investment Corp. Ltd. (SPIC) to construct a 7-kilometer (4-mile) natural gas pipeline. The pipeline will supply natural gas to the Xinhui Daze Gas Thermal Power Project in Daze, Xinhui, Jiangmen, Guangdong.
The Daze Project is a significant component of China’s "14th Five Year Plan" for energy development in Jiangmen and the "Action Plan for Building a New Power System" in Guangdong. It will feature two 50MW gas steam combined cycle units, expected to generate 584 million kilowatt-hours of power annually and provide 108.4 GJ of heating. The project will consume about 150 million cubic meters of natural gas per year.
The pipeline will connect the Gonghe Valve Station to the Xinhui Daze Thermal Power Plant, located 7 kilometers northeast of the station. CF Energy will handle the investment and construction of the pipeline and supporting infrastructure.
