California Ends Spill Response at Chevron's Richmond Wharf, Investigation Ongoing

(Reuters) — California officials said on Thursday that they have concluded the spill response at Chevron's Richmond Wharf port facility in the state but noted that an investigation will continue.

"An investigation into the source of the spill is underway. No observed impacts to wildlife at this time," the Office of Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR) said in a post on social media platform X.

Richmond Wharf is a tanker terminal and port facility. It receives crude oil and products destined for Chevron's 245,271 barrel-per-day Richmond refinery.
