Progressive Pipeline Management Acquired by Platform Partners
(P&GJ) — Commonwealth M&A, a merger and acquisition advisory firm, announced the acquisition of its client Progressive Pipeline Management (PPM) by Platform Partners.
PPM, known for its trenchless pipeline rehabilitation services, specializes in restoring aging natural gas distribution pipelines using cured-in-place-lining (CIPL) technology, which minimizes surface disruption.
Founded in 2002, PPM has built a reputation for quality and safety in infrastructure restoration. David Wickersham, PPM's founder, noted Commonwealth M&A’s role in navigating complex challenges: “Thanks to their help, I found the right partner and now have the financial and strategic backing to take my company to the next phase of growth.”
Joe Bergin, co-founder of Commonwealth M&A, emphasized the importance of ensuring a smooth transition for PPM's legacy and its 100+ employees: “There were a number of very complicated layers to maneuver, but we knew we needed to do it justice.”
