Half of Finland’s Inkoo LNG Slots Already Booked for 2025
9/3/2024
(Reuters) — Customers of Finland's Gasgrid have so far booked half the available slots for imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) via the Inkoo floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in 2025, the company said late on Monday.
A total of 11 out of 22 slots on offer have so far been reserved, Gasgrid said in a statement.
Finland chartered the FSRU vessel in 2022 on a 10-year contract, allowing the country to replace pipeline gas imports from neighboring Russia with LNG from gas producers elsewhere.
