ROSEN Names Former Linde Executive Andreas Opfermann as New CEO
(P&GJ) — The ROSEN Group has named Andreas Opfermann as its next chief executive officer, effective July 1, 2025. He succeeds interim CEO Erik Cornelissen, who will take on the newly created role of chief customer officer.

Opfermann brings nearly two decades of executive experience from Linde Group, where he held positions including Executive Vice President for the Americas, CEO of AGA AB, and Global EVP of Clean Energy. He also previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company for six years.
“I'm honored to become CEO of ROSEN, a company I have followed for many years, that stands out with its technology and service leadership and unique global team culture,” Opfermann said. “ROSEN is exceptionally well-positioned to capitalize on the many growth opportunities as a leader in asset integrity services and I am excited to serve its customers and team.”
Cornelissen, who served as interim CEO, will now lead global customer-facing activities as Chief Customer Officer. The position aims to enhance service delivery and support growth across ROSEN’s product lines and regions.
“Leading ROSEN on its path to becoming the global benchmark for asset integrity solutions has been a true privilege,” said Cornelissen. “As Chief Customer Officer, I look forward to further strengthening ROSEN's reputation for service excellence.”
Ulrich Spiesshofer, chairman of ROSEN’s Shareholders’ Committee, praised both leaders for their commitment and vision.
“We are pleased to welcome Andreas as our Chief Executive Officer,” Spiesshofer said. “He is a proven business leader in our markets and brings deep technology expertise combined with intercultural sensitivity and a track record of driving profitable growth.”
Opfermann, who holds a Ph.D. in physics from Cambridge University, will be based at ROSEN’s headquarters in Stans, Switzerland.
