IPLOCA Awards Announced in Bangkok
At the 53rd Annual Convention of the International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Association in Bangkok, the winners of the association’s Health and Safety Award and Corporate Social Responsibility Award were announced.
The Health & Safety Award, sponsored by Chevron, was won by Sciecapag for its development of Goal Post 2.0 which eliminated overhead hazards. Runner-ups were Tekfen for its IoT tracking tool and SICIM for its Gas Cylinder Lifting Device.
The Corporate Responsibility Award, sponsored by Total, was given to LEDCOR for its "Making an Impact" program, which matched employee contributions for support of local communities. Runner-ups were Tekfen for summer schools in association with the TANAP project and the Kalpatan Power Transmission Project in Mumbai.
