Pakistan Suggests SubSea Pipeline From Iran

Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani wants a feasibility report on a new Iran–Pakistan gas pipeline project along a sea route.

The sea route could save $2 billion and reduce the pipeline’s length by 150 km. Iran and Pakistan signed a gas sales purchase agreement for the $7 billion project in May. India has an option to join later on.
