Cat Footwear d3o industrial footwear

Cat Footwear has introduced what it terms the world’s first industrial footwear featuring d3o™, a revolutionary material for flexible impact protection.

In partnership with the d3o™ lab, Cat Footwear said it is launching the first flexible external metatarsal guard workboot featuring d3o™ technology during 2009. This technology is described as a patented, shock-absorbing material with intelligent molecules that flow as you move. Upon impact, the molecules lock together to absorb shock and resist impact.
