Construction Begins On Iran To Armenia Pipeline

Construction has begun on the 300-km Iran-Armenia oil pipeline.

The pipeline will transport oil from the Tabriz refinery in Iran’s northwest to Armenia’s Ararat province via the border city of Meghri. The project is part of a cooperative approach between Armenia and Iran to improve energy infrastructure and is expected to cost $US240 million.
