PEMEX Awards Pipeline Maintenance Contract To DMGP


Mexico’s Pemex Exploration and Production has awarded a $1.3 billion 10-year contract for maintenance of its offshore transport system in the Tabasco and Campeche areas of the Gulf of Mexico to the newly formed Mexican company DMGP Servicios de Integridad.

Penspen, the UK-based pipeline engineering and integrity consultant, and its subsidiary GreyStar Corp., the field services operations and maintenance provider of Houston, are members of the consortium along with Mexican companies Grupo Diavaz and Mexssub.

The tendered System 1 oil transportation infrastructure consists of 116 pipelines, the Cayo Arcas offshore facility, the Dos Bocas maritime terminal and Rebombeo pumping complex. Work was set to start on May 4.
