Belzona 5831

Belzona is offering Belzona 5831 (ST Barrier) which it says is an innovative solution for the prevention of corrosion and future deterioration in splash zones.

The firm says its range of surface tolerant products has been specifically formulated to be “tolerant of surface moisture and oil contamination.” These products are described as effective at displacing water when applied by brush, as they exhibit excellent bond affinity with the substrate. It is for service conditions in offshore environments such as on an offshore production or compression platform. David Rice, Belzona’s Strategic Manager for the Oil & Gas industry explains: “This solution is able to continue curing to full strength even in an immersed environment.
