Paul van Gelder Succeeding Marcel Kramer As Gasunie CEO

Paul van Gelder was named CEO at N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie, beginning on Sept. 1. He will succeed Marcel Kramer, whose contract terminates at the end of August when he turns 60.

van Gelder is Managing Director of TAQA Europa B.V. and TAQA Energy B.V. The companies are subsidiaries of the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA).

Under Kramer’s leadership, Gasunie developed into one of the largest gas transporters in Europe, offering cross-border services to a growing number of national and international customers. Major projects are under construction such as the expansion of the Dutch gas grid, the Gate LNG terminal and the Zuidwending gas storage project.
