International Companies Seek To Bid On $700 Million Abu Dhabi Pipeline Project

More than 20 international engineering firms have applied for approval to bid on an Abu Dhabi pipeline project worth $US700 million.

The contractors submitted prequalification applications last year and are waiting for the Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (Takreer) to grant bidding approval for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) agreement. The successful bidder will construct 142 miles of oil pipeline which will link the Asab oil field with Takreer’s Ruwais refinery.
