GTI and Zeus Development Publish New Encyclopedia of World LNG Industry
Gas Technology Institute (GTI) and Zeus Development Corporation have published the fifth edition of the World LNG Source Book, the most comprehensive report on global LNG facilities. This resource provides detailed information on more than 125 LNG baseload export and import terminals worldwide, including those that are operating and under construction.
The price for a single copy is $4995 plus shipping. Company-wide site licenses that include an Access database are also available.
According to Dr. Colleen Taylor Sen, GTI’s senior advisor on LNG training and consulting, “The Source Book provides a thorough overview on LNG facilities worldwide to help with project planning and assessments, supply management, and evaluation of competing projects. Energy industry managers and executives, planners, consultants, engineers, and government regulators will find the Source Book an invaluable tool in their analysis of industry trends.”
Each plant has its own individual report that includes information on plant location; design, engineering and construction contractors; major component suppliers; owners and operators; production capacity; acid removal technology and liquefaction process licensors (for export plants); number and type of vaporizers (for import plants); LNG composition, capacity and type of storage tanks; commercial information; ports and shipping, including maximum vessel size and jetty length; and much more.
The Source Book also features introductory essays summarizing and interpreting the data and lists of current long-term LNG contracts and LNG ships in operation.
Purchasers receive the following:
• A hard copy and a CD-ROM
• Oil & Gas Journal’s World LNG Trade map 2010 showing all the plants covered in the Source Book
• A free information update at the beginning of 2011.
