Questar Holds Open Season For Uinta Basin Expansion

Questar Pipeline Co. held an open season concluding Jan. 31 to solicit binding support for the installation of nine miles of pipe and ancillary facilities on its Jurisdictional Line (JL) 47 in Duchesne County, UT.

The project will enable QPC to transport up to an additional 30,000 Dth/d from receipt points located on QPC’s JL46 and JL47. Assuming it has sufficient binding support by March 1 to underwrite the cost of the required facilities, QPC anticipates the facilities can be placed in service by mid 2013.
