Construction And Upgrade Of World-Class Ethylene Unit

Wood Group Mustang has been awarded a contract by Dow Chemical Co. to provide services for construction of 140 miles of ethane, ethylene, propane and propylene pipelines, associated interconnections, and station modifications between Dow Texas Operations in Freeport, TX and facilities at Mt. Belvieu.

The pipelines and station upgrades are part of construction for an ethylene unit.

Following completion of front-end loading in 2012, detailed design for the project began in February 2013. Completion is scheduled for late 2016.
