Encana, Ferus LNG Plan Fuel Plant In Western Canada
Encana Corp. and Ferus LNG Inc. plan to build an LNG production facility near Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Expected to be operational by year’s end, it will be among the first in Canada designed to produce high-quality LNG fuel specifically for high-horsepower engines used in drilling rigs, pressure pumping services, and heavy-duty highway and off-road trucks. Encana and Ferus LNG have designed and are building specialized mobile storage and dispensing equipment.
