ShawCor Back at Work on South Stream Offshore Pipeline

ShawCor’s Bredero Shaw pipe-coating division has been notified the work suspension on its contract with Europipe for the concrete weight coating of Line 1 of the South Stream Pipeline has been lifted.

In December 2014, ShawCor announced suspension of the majority of work on its $100 million pipeline contracts with
Europipe and with Marubeni Sumitomo Consortium and with Saipem SpA, a contract valued at about $30 million.

The South Stream Pipeline is designed to transport natural gas of the Russian Federation through the Black Sea to Bulgaria and through Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia further to Austria.
