EQT Corporation appointed Thomas F. Karam as senior vice president and midstream president. Karam also assumed the roles of president and CEO of general partners EQT Midstream Partners and EQT GP Holdings, joining each of the companies’ respective boards of directors.
Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) appointed Jon Franke as vice president of Safety and Health. He previously worked as PG&E’s vice president of Power Generation. Frank joined the company in January of 2017 and will be responsible safe operations in the natural gas, hydroelectric and renewable power plant fleet.
Solaris Oilfield Infrastructure announced a new independent director, Ray N. Walker, Jr., has been appointed to the company’s board. Walker, who has 39 years’ experience in operations, fills a vacancy on the seven-member board.
Avanti International appointed Britt N. Babcock, as president. He has been with the company since 2011, most recently served as vice president of sales. Babcock has over 25 years of engineering, construction, sales and management experience.
Whiting Petroleum named Tim Sulser as its chief corporate development and strategy officer. He previously served as CEO of Salt Creek Oil and Gas, and director of investment banking for Tudor Pickering & Holt.
Oxford Flow hired three senior officers to expand its oil and gas market in the U.S and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). They are David Smith, who will be business development director, North America, based in Houston; Howard Williams as group business development director; and Jawaad Aziz, who will oversee business development for EMEA.
Tim Dunphy has been named marketing director of Underground Technologies for Ridgid in Elyria, Ohio. In this role, Dunphy will manage new product development and partner relations for the company’s line of diagnostics, inspection and locating products.
Contango Oil & Gas appointed two new directors, John C. Goff and Wilkie S. Colyer Jr. The company also announced Allan D. Keel, president and CEO, and a director, is leaving the Contango to pursue other business interests. Colyer has been appointed interim president and chief executive.
Hal Goldie joined the board of production optimization specialist Enpro Subsea in a non-executive director’s role. Goldie, who is based in Houston, has a career that spans almost 50 years in the oil and gas industry, having held senior management and executive positions, including president of Cameron Subsea Systems.
Ross McHardy has been appointed European regional director of EnerMech, joining the company from North Sea operator TAQA Bratani. McHardy, who has 20 years’ experience with major operating companies, will be responsible for all U.K. and Norwegian activities at the Aberdeen-headquartered integrated engineering services firm.
RigNet, a cybersecurity solutions company, appointed Lee M. Ahlstrom as senior vice president and CFO. Ahlstrom brings more than 20 years of finance and capital markets experience and a background in strategic planning and investor relations. Most recently he served as senior vice president and CFO for Paragon Offshore.
Project Development International, an engineering and management company of the Tattva Group, appointed Michael O’Sullivan as its chief executive officer and board member. He brings over 25 years’ subsea oil and gas experience to PDi and began his career in the subsea industry with riser consultancy MCS.
Chesapeake Utilities President and CEO Michael P. McMasters will retire from the Board of Directors in early 2019. He will continue as a member and will serve in an advisory capacity to ensure a smooth transition.
Sealing-solutions company BiSN appointed 20-year veteran Tom Box as vice president, while Gary McWilliam has taken on the role of applications manager for the company’s Eastern Hemisphere division. McWilliam joins the company from Maersk, where he specialized in completions and abandonments.
Yvonne L. Fletcher joined Solaris Oilfield as senior vice president of Finance and Investor Relations. She previously was at Talen Energy.
Gro Gunleiksrud Haatvedt joined Neptune as vice president and group head of Exploration. She comes to the company from Aker BP ASA where she was senior vice president for Exploration. Also, Amanda Chilcott will take over as Human Resources director, after heading HR at Pggreko Plc.
