The ROSEN Group opened a new Aberdeen, Scotland, office. The company expects to increase its Aberdeen base to at least 20 employees in the next 24 months. The local integrity team receives support from 160 Newcastle-based employees.

GTI won the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) 2018 Innovation Award in the Natural Gas Industry category for its breakaway disconnect/shut-off fitting to enhance gas system safety. The technology was developed by the company with funding from Operations Technology Development (OTD).

Chesapeake Utilities acquired Marlin CNG Services, a North American supplier of mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) utility. Marlin specializes in solutions for winter peaking supplies, pipeline integrity testing and pipeline reconstruction.

ARB Midstream partnered with Vitol US Holding to acquire midstream company Red River for an undisclosed price. The pipeline system has been renamed the Texoma Crude Oil Pipeline System and consists of 700 miles of active crude oil pipelines, over 950,000 barrels of working storage, and 25 truck injection stations servicing North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.
