ENERGY worldnet, Inc. Enters Virtual Reality Arena 

ENERGY worldnet, Inc. (EWN) launched its Mobile Training Center to bring blended learning and virtual reality (VR) training to pipeline operators in the oil and gas industry. The mobile training center debuted recently at the Texas Gas Association’s (TGA) Fall Board and Committee Meeting in League City.  

In an innovative approach to training and education, mobile training provides a hands-on virtual environment. Based in Decatur, Texas, the company provides training and compliance support in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Latin America. 

EnLink Midstream launched a binding open season for expansion capacity volume commitments on its existing Cajun-Sibon natural gas liquids pipeline system. The expansion will increase takeaway from the Mont Belvieu NGL hub to the company’s Louisiana fractionation plants and is expected to be operational during the second quarter of 2019. 

Williams completed the sale of certain pipeline systems located in the Gulf Coast area to Easton Energy for $177 million in cash. The 31-mile Texas Belle Pipeline, which transports natural gas liquids from Mont Belvieu along the Houston Ship Channel is included in this transaction as are the Purity Pipeline System, certain assets in the Live Oak Pipeline System and other idle pipelines located along the Gulf Coast.  

H&E Equipment Services relocated its Midland branch to an expanded location. The new 25,600-square-foot facility sits on 10 acres with a fully fenced yard area, offices, parts warehouse and a 16-bay repair shop. 

Clock Spring Company, a manufacturer of products for the repair and rehabilitation of pipe-based infrastructure, announced affiliate company AVT was honored for its EZ Valve at the 17th Annual Chicago Innovation Awards. Its valve makes it possible for utilities to insert valves and make repairs without shutting down service.
