The American Petroleum Institute (API) promoted Dustin Meyer to senior vice president of Policy, Economics and Regulatory Affairs. He previously served as API’s vice president of Natural Gas Markets, leading the organization’s efforts on domestic and global natural gas markets, as well as natural gas technology and innovation including renewable and differentiated natural gas, hydrogen and the use of carbon capture in the power sector. Prior to joining API, Meyer led analytics, forecasting and consulting services on global LNG and renewable energy markets for Energy Ventures Analysis. He also held analysis positions at PFC Energy and then IHS Energy on upstream investment in North American oil and natural gas, including liquefaction projects in the U.S. and Canada. Meyer also worked at ICF International on the transportation policy team and for various NGOs. He earned his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and his master’s focused on Energy Policy & Economics from Yale University. 

Ipieca, the global oil and gas industry association for advancing environmental and social performance across the energy transition, has appointed Oxy’s Krish Ravishankar and Hess Corporation’s Tony Webster as its newest vice chairs. Both Ravishankar and Webster have been active Ipieca members for more than 20 years. Ravishankar has been at Oxy since 2004 and currently serves as senior director of Environment and Sustainability, supporting international environmental affairs, environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters and international business development within the health, safety and environmental function. He previously worked for the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Webster, a 22-year Hess veteran, manages the company’s Sustainability and Environment, Health and Safety Reporting Team and is responsible for coordinating sustainability strategy, external sustainability reporting, ESG surveys and internal EHS reporting systems. Prior to joining Hess in 2001, Webster worked as a climate and air quality researcher for the UN Environment Programme and the World Health Organization.
