IL&FS Engineering Services Awarded Pipeline Laying Contract
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received the Fax of Acceptance (FOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Facilities of Section II Pipeline from Chainage 159.70 Km. to Receiving Terminal Cum Future IP Station-4 at Dobhi (Chainage 345.08 Km.) for Phulpur-Haldia Pipeline Project (Phase 1B) in Bihar State.
The total length of the 30” pipeline is 185.38 Km. The total value of the Contract is Rs. 162.58 Crores (plus Service Tax), and is to be mechanically completed in 15 months from date of FOA and with additional 3 months for drying, commissioning and GAS-IN.
IL&FS Engineering Services recently won a Rs. 173.13 Crores (plus Service Tax) pipeline laying contract from GAIL for Section – 1 of Kochi-Koottanad-Bangalore-Mangalore Pipeline Project Phase-II in Kerala.
IL&FS Engineering Services is already executing an EPC contract for GAIL for Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Works for Pipeline Replacement Project in Gujarat region. The Company is also currently executing an EPC contract for Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, for Laying of Pipeline from Land Fall Point (LFP), Mangalore Port to Mangalore/Padur Cavern via Intermediate Valve Station (IVS) for storage of crude oil.
