Nexus Gas Transmission HDD Activities Approved
FERC has approved Enbridge’s request to proceed with construction at the following eleven horizontal directional drill (HDD) locations associated with the Nexus Gas Transmission Project:
• Wetland (milepost 7.84 – 8.40)
• Nimisila Reservoir (milepost 40.87 – 41.20)
• East Branch Black River (milepost 87.49 – 87.15)
• West Branch Black River (milepost 93.24 – 92.92)
• Vermilion River (milepost 104.96 – 105.56)
• Interstate 80 (milepost 111.21 – 110.94)
• Huron River (milepost 117.68 – 118.14)
• Sandusky River (milepost 147.19 – 146.70)
• Portage River (milepost 163.72 – 163.38)
• Findlay Road (milepost 181.12 – 180.84)
• Maumee River (milepost 182.22 – 182.98)
The Nexus Gas Transmission Pipeline Project includes the construction of an approximately 255-mile interstate natural gas transmission pipeline that will deliver 1.5 billion cubic feet per day of clean-burning natural gas from receipt points in eastern Ohio to existing pipeline system interconnects in southeastern Michigan.
The project is expected to be placed in service in 2018.
